PS3 Playing MKV's & WMV's

Hi,

I have tried so many methods on here to try and get MKV's to stream nicely & to play WMV's with sound :evil: :twisted: . Everything else works like AVI's and anything i remux with mkv2vob.

Just wondered if anyone could help out :?:

My set up is as follows:-

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
4GB Ram
Windows Vista Ultimate x84 (All Updated)
TVersity 1.6.0.0 (Free Edition)

Thanks but tried this method and nothing..

Have given up now with it & uninstalled. Will just convert things

I found the below fairly useful - parts of it are slightly out of date but the underlying premise is still correct.

Optimizing TVersity for the PS3

Summary:
* Make sure codecs are up-to-date and uncluttered
* Change internet settings and compression options for transcoding
* Edit profile.xml if you want

I've tried that and it's Java based and eats up loads of ram. It also adds pointless folders when I'm browsing. Sounds silly i know, but something that really bugs me
