This is interesting to me since I would like improve my media library interface. I will have to look into this further.
Does TVersity anticipate supporting any improvements in this area with metadata? Some examples of similar software used on home theater PC (HTPC) platforms including Yet Another Movie Jukebox that creates html or flash web-based jukebox interface with album art and info using java or YANFOE (Yet Another NFO Editor) that can manage movie and TV meta data and the Kodi/XBMC Media Center player which are open source. I'm not sure which database API would be the best to use although it looks like you have to register for some
I know the main benefit of TVersity is transcoding on the fly to different devices, so adding metadata in such a way to be compatible with different devices might be especially difficult, although it seems possible. I think I will have to look at this in more detail to get a better understanding
